Art in the form of a functional soup kettle! With matching lids and handles, these are glazed beautifully. No markings, definitely handmade and best estimate is 1960's. Mid-Century Soup/Bean Bowls/Crocks are always in style for good reason. You can tell the craftsmanship (handmade, not mass produced) because of the bottom of the crocks and the small hole in the handle which is added to release super-hot air while a clay object is being heated to fiery oranginess in the kiln.
SIZE: Bowl opening is approximately 5" wide , and 8" when including handle, actual soup bowl stands 2" 1/2" without lid , with lid on stands 4" from bottom to top of lid. Holds a hearty serving size fluid 12 ounces.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The photos and video you see are of the actual piece you are purchasing, and I took them with care to accurately represent the item. There are no chips, cracks, scratches or missing paint.
